On behalf of the Advan Office Property Trust, MRS were engaged, in 2002, to seek a re-zoning of this seven (7) hectare site for the development of the proposed Adelaide Corporate Park. The promulgation of a Plan Amendment Report (re-zoning) process with the City of West Torrens followed and some four years passed whilst interested parties, Government Ministers and bureaucrats moved the re-zoning through to completion. Bagot Street, North Adelaide Engineers Australia engaged MRS to undertake a review of their long term accommodation options and subsequent negotiations to dispose of their existing premises at Bagot Street, North Adelaide. Our role was to undertake a review of “own versus lease” options and to negotiate with selected parties for the sale of their existing premises. MRS reviewed the formal purchase offers, negotiated sale terms on Engineers Australia’s behalf and arranged for the preparation and execution of all documentation. Terms of the sale included a flexible lease-back arrangement. MRS are now in the process of assisting Engineers Australia to source and secure new premises. |

192-194 Hutt Street, Adelaide The proprietors of the City East Chemplus business engaged MRS to undertake an opinion of value for the freehold of the premises at 192 Hutt Street, which the business had continously occupied for over 30 years. Under the terms of an Option to Purchase, MRS subsequently negotiated the acquisition of the freehold interest without the property being offered on the open market. We were successful in securing the property for the business proprietors in potentially difficult commercial circumstances. |
