The proprietors of the City East Chemplus business engaged MRS to undertake an opinion of value for the freehold of the premises at 192 Hutt Street, which the business had continuously occupied for over 30 years.
Under the terms of an Option to Purchase, MRS subsequently negotiated the acquisition of the freehold interest without the property being offered on the open market.
Our role included reviewing the existing lease terms, market advice, due-diligence, commercial advice and negotiation of the acquisition.
We were successful in securing the property for the business proprietors in potentially difficult commercial circumstances.
